Mission

The mission of Tioga Lake & Canyon Country Association, Inc., is to develop, promote and encourage tourism in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, to support local businesses and promote activities and events unique to this county and to encourage visitors to experience our area through advertising and the distribution of information of these businesses and attractions.

Why TLCC?

Tioga County now ranks in the top ten most popular areas in Pennsylvania for tourism. Tioga Lake & Canyon Country Association, Inc., is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization designed to promote all the businesses of Tioga County and surrounding areas without using county, state or federal funds. All monies raised are used for promotion by the way of maps, brochures, placemats, billboards, etc.

What does TLCC do?

• Maintains an 800 number. All requests for information are answered promptly.
• Maintains ties to area visitors' bureaus.
• Hosts information booths at local festivals and celebrations.
• Creates and publishes a free Tioga County map featuring local attractions and members' locations.
• Creates and publishes brochures highlighting local interests and activities, such as fishing, antiques and speciality shops, and a Christmas events calendar.
• Advertises on mugs at Grammas' Kitchen in Mansfield, George's Restaurant and the Wellsboro Diner in Wellsboro.
• Maintains four billboards advertising our local visitors' center on Route 15.
• Supplies visitor information center with brochures from campgrounds, motels, bed & breakfasts and shops, and area maps for fishing and lakes.
• Holds monthly meetings the third Wednesday of each month except December. Meeting locations move each month to feature a member's business. All are welcome. Call +1-800-299-5280 for next meeting locaction.
